Citizen Banquet is Tonight

The Single Parent Scholarship Fund will benefit from the
proceeds of tonight’s Calhoun
County Citizen of the Year
Banquet.
You can purchase the $10
tickets in advance at First Bank,
First State Bank, SATCO and
Ouachita Electric. A limited
number will be available at the
door.
The banquet starts at 6 pm at
the Hampton School Cafeteria.
It should be good entertainment with brothers Steve
and David Wells toasting and
roasting this year’s recipient:
James Rawls.
Dr. Corbet Lamkin of SAU
Tech and former Hampton
Methodist Minister Stephen
Copley are a few that will be on
hand for the annual event.
This will be the first time for
a roast and toast and it couldn’t
happen to a finer volunteer.
