Jeff Jackson was terminated
last Wednesday after he decided he would not resign from
his position, Mayor Rick Shirron
said during the city’s council
meeting.
Though the council spent
almost 45 minutes in executive
session Monday night, there
was no mention of Jackson in
the regular meeting.
Shirron
said in response to the newspaper’s questioning concerning
Jackson’s employment.
