Building self confidence can be quite a feat, especially for people who are
not naturally out going.
While there is nothing wrong with being shy, there
is a problem when people have negative self esteem because of this
shyness.
Many self help books lay out chapters upon chapters about self
improvement and how to be confident, but what you need to know is that
it all starts from what is happening on the inside.
The reason that having no self confidence is a problem is because it gets in
the way of your interaction with the rest of the world.
You believe that
you are not worthy of other peoples time and attention, hence the rest of
the world will start to think that as well.
