elcome to the the 2010 Encinitas Holiday Parade! The Parade will kick
off at 5:00 pm with a tree lighting ceremony in the Lumberyard Shopping
Center courtyard on Coast Highway 101.
The Parade begins at 5:30 pm
heading south along Coast Highway 101 from D Street to J Street.
This year’s Parade
theme is “Illuminate the Season – with Gifts of Service,” celebrating community spirit
and service and giving to others.
Enjoy watching almost 100 entries make their way
down the Parade route.
Judging categories this year include: Best Use of Lights, Best
Use of Flowers and Most Unusual to name a few.
Launching the holiday season in Encinitas, the Parade is the largest community
event of the year.
Not only does it bring together retailers, organizations, and City
Council members, but more importantly it shows the many children participating in
the Parade that Encinitas is a committed and wonderful community.
