ANNUAL STATE OF THE PINELANDS REPORT
On June 24th PPA released its annual State
of the Pinelands report.
The report assesses
the state of Pinelands protection, and rates
how specific actions of government agencies and elected officials have either helped
or harmed the Pinelands during the previous twelve months.
This year’s report
includes some 48 items about Pinelands
issues.
This past year illustrated that there is real
cause for concern about the actions of government agencies responsible for safeguarding the Pinelands environment.
It also
pointed out that these very same agencies
can accomplish great things if they choose.
